We hear ya! We are Illinois' first craft beer taproom with a dog park, or should we say the first dog park where you can drink beer and make friends while watching your pups play.

Beerology's dog park is membership based. This allows us to create a true community of responsible dog lovers, by making sure all our pups are properly socialized and vaccinated and ensuring a fun, safe environment for everyone.

We care deeply about animal welfare. A portion of your membership fee will be donated to support various local non-profit organizations.

Park Rules

All dogs must be current on vaccinations for rabies, distemper and bordetella. All dogs must be flea and tick free.
All dogs must be 4 months and older to enter.
All dogs over a year old must be spayed or neutered.
Dogs must be on leash when entering and exiting the Dog Park and off-leash at all times inside the park.
Members are to clean up after their dog(s). All waste must be bagged and disposed of properly in the marked receptacles.
No food or treats inside the dog park. This limits guarding behavior and fights.
For safety reasons, children, MUST be 16 years of age & up, to enter the off-leash yard.
At NO point can you leave the property without your dog. This may result in revocation of membership.
If aggressive behavior is observed, the dog owner is responsible to take immediate action. We reserve the right to ask for the parent to take the dog for a time-out or to you may be asked to remove your dog(s)from the yard/premises until they can play nicely.
Use of the dog park is at your own risk. Each owner is solely responsible for their and their dog's actions and assumes all liability for damages suffered by any person or dog injured by the member or the member's dog(s) while utilizing the dog park.
If for any reason, we must close the park briefly to accommodate for maintenance, it will be posted on our website and Social Media.

FAQ

How many dogs can I bring? You can get a membership for one, two, or three dogs. If you have more than three dogs per household, please contact us! This can be approved on a case-by-case basis.
Can my partner or dog walker use my membership? Sure can! They would need to also have an account made on the website and the waiver signed when creating an account.
Do you have breed restrictions? No restrictions. All well-socialized and vaccinated dogs over 4 months of age are welcome at Beerology Bar.
Do dogs have to be spayed / neutered to visit the park? Yes. For the safety of our members, all dog a year and older must be spayed or neutered. Dogs who are not "fixed" will probably not do well in a setting where most dogs are. Simply, because they smell very different than those dogs who are neutered or spayed and will become the center of attention in a pack setting. Those dogs may feel picked on or receive far too much attention for their comfort level. This can result in a dog fight.
Are children allowed? Children under 16 yrs are not permitted in the park, this is due to safety, regulations and protecting the energy of the dogs in the park.
Can I drop off my dogs? No, you must be inside the park with your dog at all times. Our staff can keep an eye on your dog(s) while you go grab a beer, but leaving your dog on the premises may lead to a revocation of membership.
Can I work from the dog park? Absolutely! That's why we provide free WiFi and put work stations inside the park to keep you connected. However we ask our human guests to always be aware and attentive when needed to your dog(s). As a courtesy to all members please limit the work time here to no more than 120 minutes.
Can I visit the park without my own dog? Sure can! Membership is for dog(s). Entry for human is always free.
Can I bring my own dog treats or toys? Outside treats and toys are not permitted in the Park. This rule is in place purely for safety reasons minimizing possession aggression.
Is smoking allowed inside the park? Smoking and vaping is not permitted inside or around both the dog park and the bar.
Is there a small dog section? Since we believe all dogs are created equal, we have learned that when managed properly, dividing the park is not necessary.
How much are memberships? The membership for one dog is $40 per month or $360 per year before tax. Two additional dogs may be added per household at a discounted rate. Please refer to our membership page for additional information.
How do I become a member? Online registration prior to visit is highly encouraged to save your time during your first visit. Click here to join the community. If you prefer to sign up in person, please bring your dog(s)' vaccine records and check-in with our staff inside the bar during business hours when you arrive.
What's the parking situation? Parking is free at the premise and on nearby streets. If you have an RV or trailer, please give us a call.
What's your hours? Once you become a monthly/yearly member, the dog park is accessible to you 24/7 with your digital key on the smart phone. But if you'd like to sample some tasty craft beer while watching your dogs play, please come during bar business hours - click here to see the hours.
Do you open rain or shine? Mostly! Unlike most traditional dog parks, our K-9 turf stays clean, safe, and fun despite weather conditions. Special circumstances are on a case-by-case basis and you should be notified by email and socials if any closure takes place.
